Obama’s Digg-meets-government concept on Change.gov is one of the most exciting things I’ve seen the government do in a long time.  It is admirable, innovative, and could bring a lot of people into civic life.  That said, it may have too much of the Digg audience effect going on.  A significant number of the ideas seem to be half-baked proposals for nonsensical economic reforms or legalizing marijuana.  The leading idea is for a bullet train!

Let’s hope this idea gets some scale and thusly better content once he’s in office.
